Given the lethal enormity of sin and the inestimable value of a single soul, a baby in a manger and a man on a cross makes more sense that anything else I will ever be able to possibly imagine.

About This Quote

In my opinion, Martin Luther King Jr. is right when he said, “Given the lethal enormity of sin and the inestimable value of a single soul, a baby in a manger and a man on a cross makes more sense.” I would have to agree. If you have ever had to suffer from any sort of mental illness, you know how much it can hurt. When you are suffering from mental illness it is usually not very easy for people to understand.

In fact, most people do not understand what it feels like to be mentally ill. People who have been mentally ill usually feel alone and confused. The only person they can talk to about their illness is the one who has been diagnosed with a mental illness themselves.

They do not exist in a world where they are alone and they feel lost and helpless.
